Supplies Needed for the Craft:

  • Craft print out (please print out prior to meeting - make sure you DO NOT print these double sided, as they will be cut out)

  • Crayons, washable markers, or colored pencils (anything to color with)

  • A pair of scissors

  • A glue stick

May Service Project

For the May service project we are making DIY pet toys for animal shelters! There will be several different projects to help animals. These will be made and donated to local shelters by troops 2010 and 4402, or troops can donate to their own favorite shelter.  Troop 4402 will host a Zoom on May 2nd, starting at 3 pm where we'll do all of these projects.  Videos and instruction sheets for each project will be available soon.

Start saving supplies now:
empty, clean toilet paper or paper towel tubes
    single clean socks
    newspaper
    old clean Tshirts

We will also host a supply drive for supplies for the shelters.  More information is coming soon.

Hieroglyphic Hike

Hiking Club February Hike:  Hieroglyphic Hike at Sears Kay Ruins Trail

February 20.  Please plan to arrive at the trailhead between 7:30-8:00am.

It is a beautiful time of year to hike in Arizona, with the spring flowers beginning to bloom.  It's an easy trail, just under 2 miles, and has bonus hieroglyphics for you to explore.  This will link well to both the Outdoor Art badge series and the Hiking badges at the different GS levels.

Families will hike in their own pods.  Please wear masks when you can't maintain social distance.  Please arrive at the trailhead between 7:30 and 8:00 so we all can hit the trail in separate groups and enjoy nature!

Troop Cookie Donations for the Military

Troop donations for the military can be dropped off at Diana's house until March 5th and then again after March 15th.

Small donations (less than 3 cases) can be left at my front door, just let me know you are coming. Please do not place them directly in front of the door; this is a tripping hazard.

Large donations: text  ahead so that we can transfer them directly into the garage. (Addresses and emails are on the neighborhood roster or in the private Facebook group).

Please bring your cookies in the right cases! The base needs to pallet them
up for the journey. We need full cases to do that.
