Feed My Starving Childen

You're Invited to a Service Project:

Pima Neighborhood has 50 volunteer spots reserved to pack meals for Feed My Starving Children at Highlands Church on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.

Please make sure to follow the student-to-adult ratio when registering.
Grade K - 2: 1 Student to 1 Adult
Grade 3 - 6: 3 Students to 1 Adult
Grade 7 -12: 4 Students to 1 Adult

Junior Patch Workshop: Knowing My Emotions

 

The Pima Recruitment team in conjunction with troop 2256 will be hosting a workshop for JUNIORS (grades 4 & 5) 

When: September 22nd, 1 to 2 pm 

Details: Come and join us to earn your knowing my emotions patch! 

Cost: Free

Each girl who completes the workshop will earn the "Knowing My Emotions" patch.  Patches are not provided but can be purchased at the Girl Scout shop.

Capacity at workshop is limited to 30

Robotics Workshops: Bring a Friend


The Pima Recruitment team in conjunction with the Techalongs robotics team will be hosting two workshops for Pima Girl Scouts and their friends.

When: August 31st, 1 to 3 pm for JUNIORS (grades 4 & 5)

September 14th, 1 to 3 pm for BROWNIES (grades 2 & 3)

Details: Invite your friends who are interested in Girl Scouts to our robotics workshops.  

Cost: Free

At each workshop, girls will learn the following:

1. Learn how robots work

2. Discover the robot brain

3. Learn about programming

4. Try simple programming

5. Code a robot

Each girl who completes the workshop will earn the "Programming Robots" badge at their level in Girl Scouts.  Badges are not provided but can be purchased at the Girl Scout shop.


Capacity at each workshop is limited to 20. If we reach capacity, we will offer additional dates.

Ice Skating


When
: Saturday 8/24 12:15 - 2:30pm

Where: Ice Den 9375 E Bell Road Scottsdale

Details: Pima Neighborhood Girl Scouts and their friends are invited to some cool fun at our Annual Ice Skating Party!  While the kids skate, parents and leaders can mingle and answer any new parent questions in the lobby. 

Tickets go on sale at noon on August 22nd and must be purchased in advance. No walk ups are allowed. 

Cost is $14, including skates.  Skate trainers can be rented for $5.

Girl Scouts who attend the event can check in with the Pima recruitment team and purchase ice skating patch for $1.  Cash only.  Please bring $1 bills...change not guaranteed.
