September Service Project: Cards for Covid-19 Fighters

Appreciate the front-line workers!

For September’s service project, Pima Neighborhood Girl Scouts will create cards thanking the front line workers like hospital workers, firefighters, and grocery store workers who are faced with COVID-19 daily. We are asking each girl to make two handmade thank-you cards, but girls who make five or more will receive a patch for their dedication!

Materials needed:  Blank cards or blank paper, pens, markers, colored pencils, stickers or other decor.

Instructions:  Write a short message or “thank you for all your work” or even “Thank you!”  Decorate card.  For safety, girls should omit last names and personal information from cards.

On September 13th at 2pm, we will host a zoom meeting for girls to come to make cards together. The zoom meeting is not mandatory, but if the girls want to share their cards and ideas, they are highly encouraged to come!

Zoom Card Making Party:  September 13th @ 2pm

By October 7th, order patches for girls who made 5+ cards with this form:

The last day to turn in cards will be September 30th.
