FTC Robotics Team Forming Now

Calling all girls!  Pima is partnering with Girls in Tech to form an First Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team to compete in the 2022-2023 season.

FIRST Tech Challenge students learn to think like engineers. Teams design, build, and code robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. Robots are built from a reusable platform, powered by Android technology, and can be coded using a variety of levels of Java-based programming.

The teams also need aspiring writers and publicists to help with the team process, so this is not just for the tech-inclined!  Here is a look at the 2022-2023 game.

For more information on competitions in Arizona (we will attend three), please visit: https://aznmfirsttechchallenge.blogspot.com/

All girls who will be in grades 7-12 in the fall are invited to participate.  If you know girls who are not Girl Scouts who may be interested, they can join Girl Scouts ($25) and compete with this team.  Please have them fill in the form and Diana will contact them.

Pima has secured an experienced coach and has all the supplies to make this a reality so all we need now is girls!
