Summer Day Camp 2015

What is the Camp?

A week-long summer day camp highlighting our favorite fairy tales.

Camp will include daily rotations through five activity stations: arts & crafts, science, dance & drama, swaps, and sports.

When?

Tuesday, May 26th thru Friday, May 29th from 9am to 2pm daily.

* Monday, May 25th is Memorial Day *

Where?

Desert Mountain High School (12575 E. Via Linda, Scottsdale).

All activities will take place in air-conditioned rooms.

Who Can Attend?

Open to Girl Scouts registered in the Pima Neighborhood who are GOING INTO 1st thru 5th grades, next school year (2015-16). 

Capacity: 100 campers, accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  Also attending

will be at least 12 adult volunteers (18+ years) and 22 older girl volunteers (going into 7th thru 12th grade next school year) per day.

Leaders,

Pima is proud to host its second annual girl recognition event.  If you have girls who have earned the Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award, have hosted a neighborhood event, or are Seniors in High School, please invite them to this event. This is an opportunity for you to present their awards (that you have purchased) or to publicly acknowledge their accomplishments.   Pima will provide a  reception for girls and their supporting troops and families.

**NEW THIS YEAR** If you have a girls who are in eighth, tenth, or twelfth grade, they may bridge at this event.  All girls will bridge together with girls from other troops in their grade.  Please send me a list of names of girls who are bridging.

Join Princess Belle for Tea.

Girl Scouts, be Belle's guest! Belle cordially invites you to a proper cup of tea after you enjoyed her story in Disney's Beauty and the Beast at Desert Stages Theatre. Dates for the show and tea party combo are March 15 and March 22,1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, and March 29, 1:00 pm only. Tickets are $15:00 per person and include the tea party. The tea party has to be booked at the time of the ticket purchase. A minimum of five girls is required.
