Cookie Donations to the Military

Troop donations for the military can be dropped off at Diana's house until March 6th and then again March 15th through March 22.

Small donations (less than 3 cases) can be left at my front door, just let me know you are coming. Please do not place them directly in front of the door; this is a tripping hazard.

Large donations: text  ahead so that we can transfer them directly into the garage. (Addresses and emails are on the neighborhood roster or in the private Facebook group).

Please bring your cookies in the right cases! The donations will be in the thousands and the base needs to pallet them up for the journey. We need full cases to do that.

Help Australia's Wildlife through WAGGGS

Our troop did Australia for World Thinking Day. The girls learned all about the devastating bushfires that are claiming lives, killing many animal populations, and destroying habitats.
The Australian Girl Guides have a badge available to purchase. All proceeds from the badge go to the Australian Bushfire Emergency Fund set up by Girl Guides Australia.
Each badge is $5 and our troop will be funding the shipping cost. Please order by March 16th.
If your girl or troop is interested in purchasing this badge, please contact Courtney. She is on the Neighborhood roster under "Laguna School Organizing Team"
Please follow this link for more information!

Thanks!

Robotics

The Herberger Academy robotics teams compete in the First Tech Challenge, which is a part of of the First organization. The First programs are is committed to inspiring young people to go into STEM fields.

The Herberger Howlers and Javelinas are excited to share what they have learned and help the Pima neighborhood Girl Scouts learn more about robotics and programming through the GSUSA badge programs at all levels. They are tentatively planning a badge day workshop in September, but  would like to gather some information to better serve you. Please fill in the following form if you are interested in either a badge workshop at a troop meeting or a badge day workshop.

We are asking that you fill in this form and watch for a "Save the Date" announcement soon.
