Juliette Low Birthday Party

REGISTRATION IS DUE OCTOBER 5th!

Pima Neighborhood is celebrating Juliette Low's Birthday at Scottsdale Ranch Park, Ramada #7 on October 24 from 2 pm to 4 pm.  Click here for a map of the park.

Cake will be served and fun party games will be available and girls will receive a goodie bag and a fun participation patch!  

Cost is $1 per girl.  Troop checks should be made out to Pima Neighborhood.

All troops are welcome, but activities are geared for Daisies and Brownies.  If you have an older girl troop that would like to help run the game activities, please contact us.

Juliette Low is the founder of Girl Scouts.  She was born on October 31, 1860 in Savannah, Georgia.

Girl Scout Supplies: Donations Sought

If you have Girl Scout resources you no longer have a use for, please consider donating them.  We are looking for handbooks and other program materials and/or very gently used supplies to give to new leaders in the neighborhood. We are primarily seeking to help out new Daisy and Brownie troops.  

If you have other less than gently used supplies or items for older girls, the annual neighborhood garage sale will be held at the leader's meeting in December. 

Please plan to bring your donations to the first leader's meeting on August 31st at the Boys and Girls Club.

Back to School Ice Skating

Come one, come all to the annual back to school ice skating event.  This is a great event to invite potential new Girl Scouts to attend!  Each troop should have at least one adult in attendance (adults generally sit in the lobby and socialize).  Collectively we will then have enough leaders to meet ratio guidelines.

When: August 22
Arrival Time: 5:45
Skate Time: 6:15-8:15
Where: Ice Den,  9375 E. Bell Road
Cost: $6 (includes skate rental)

Siblings may attend as well, since this is a public skate but parents are responsible for their supervision.

If you have a Girl Scout tshirt, wear it to the skating rink!

Summer at Desert Stages

Willy Wonka Jr. opens May 21st Desert Stages Theatre and runs through June 21.

The theatre offers special summer prices for Girl Scout troops of ten or more, including adults. For more information, go to desertstages.org or call Linda at the box office 480-483-1664.
