Hannah Dempsey, a Cadette in Troop 2256, is currently working on her Silver Award.
She is creating a supply/arts and crafts closet for a Special Needs Ministry at Mountain View Presbyterian Church. This ministry helps kids with all types of disabilities.
Here is a list of the needs:
- Small whiteboards
- Watercolors/paint
- Paintbrushes
- Canvases
- Playdough
- Dry erase markers
- Construction paper
- Post-It notes
- Storage boxes or cabinets
- Felt Squares
- Sand paper squares
- Sensory items (small toy-like items to fidget with that help with focus)
- Recyclable items (paper towel rolls, egg cartons, etc.)
- Gift cards (to stores to purchase various supply items)
- Monetary donations (payable to Troop 2256).
