Due to the unusually cold weather this year, Troop 2010 is proposing some changes for Camp Basic. Instead of camping overnight in the cold, we think we should turn this into an all day camp out. We will still set up the tents and complete all the camping skills stations throughout the day. Instead of breakfast on Sunday, we will make a yummy lunch on Saturday. We will have dinner together, s’mores, and a campfire. Our goal is to have this be a positive experience for our attendees. We are afraid camping in the bitter cold will be a negative experience. So, instead of camping overnight, we will all go home after the campfire. Here is our proposed schedule:
7:00AM Troop 2010 arrives
8:00AM Staff (helpers) arrive
10:00AM Campers arrive
7-7:30PM All campers and staff depart
